We are continually working on the english text. Today was added on the following pages: Smertedans and Woodcuts.
Smertedans means Dance of Pain, and is inspired by the artists meeting with Pina Bausch back in 1963 at the Folkwangshule in Essen in Germany. Bck then he made a drawing on carton board and 27 woodcuts to Pina. In 1997, when his first wife Ingrid Paus died suddenly, he started to work again on this form of artistic expression, and ha scontinued to do so up until today. There has been two solo exhibitions with this work, at the Würth Gallery, outside Oslo 2010-2011 and at the Norwegian Opera in november 2011.
